Shawn Michaels wants to play a key role in ending rap's big beef.

On Monday, the WWE legend took to social media to invite Drake and Kendrick Lamar to settle their feud in the wrestling ring at this week's episode of NXT.

‘The Heartbreak Kid’ even offered to play mediator in their beef.

“A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way,” Michaels tweeted.

“Kendrick Lamar, you and Drake are formally invited to #WWENXT to settle this thing. I’m even offering my services to mediate.

The two rap stars have shared a tense relationship for years, but it recently reached boiling point when Lamar ripped Drake and J Cole for suggesting they are on the same level as him.

Drake and Lamar have hurled insults, leaked personal information and made serious accusations against each other in a series of diss tracks released over the past few weeks.

Michaels felt compelled to intervene when Kendrick referred to his signature wrestling move in the song 'Not Like Us', which was released on Sunday.

He rapped: "Put the whole label on me, I'ma get 'em dropped, Sweet Chin Music and I won't pass the aux."

WWE fans loved seeing Michaels play an unlikely role in the rap beef.

A third person added: “WTF lolololol.”

Someone else wrote: “This is genius.”

Michaels famously feuded with a Canadian compatriot of Drake’s, as his rivalry with the legendary Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart lasted for years.

It's highly unlikely that Drake and Lamar will take the wrestling icon up on his offer to settle their differences in the WWE, but fans at least got a laugh out of his intervention attempt.

The diss tracks will keep coming and Michaels will be listening to see if he gets another mention.
